Bodega Marine Laboratory

The faculty of the PBGG come from nine different academic departments.
Each of these faculty members directs a laboratory which contains many of the specialized
instruments that are required for his/her research program. In the present research
environment it is often difficult for every lab to maintain all of the instrumentation
and facilities required for any research program. The UC Davis research community
has a strong tradition in cooperating in the sharing of research facilities and
expertise. Each of the academic units housing PBGG members maintains specialized
facilities and instruments (photography equipment, computer rooms, controlled temperature
rooms, etc.) to support the unit's research programs. In addition, UC Davis maintains
many extra-departmental research facilities that are readily available to PBGG researchers.
