Research Interests
My project focuses on "excitation-transcription coupling." I'm investigating the role of Class II Histone Deacetylases (HDACs) in transcriptional repression or activation, seen during the activation of the fetal gene program which occurs during heart failure.

Publications Ca2+/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II delta and protein kinase D overexpression reinforce the histone deacetylase 5 redistribution in heart failure.
