Before coming to Davis, I got my BA from Kenyon College in 2006, where I majored in Psychology and minored in Biology. My research experiences range from ecological field work on island-dwelling birds, to observational studies on zoo animals, to experimental laboratory work on environmental enrichment for rats. My diverse background is helping to inform my current research on aggression in laboratory rabbits. In particular, I am interested in exploring the olfactory mediation of agonistic behavior, with the goal of reducing aggression and successfully pair-housing adult females.
