Immunity; Host-pathogen interaction; B cell development and activation

My laboratory is exploring the mechanisms underlying successful immune responses to pathogens. We use two mouse models for our studies: Influenza infections and infections with Borrelia burgdorferi, the causative agent of Lyme disease. We are also interested in the development and regulation of innate-like B cells (B-1 cells) and the regulation and function of natural IgM
