Profile Introduction

My laboratory conducts applied and basic research on grapes for raisin, table, and wine. Our work in grape is concentrated in three main topics; plant growth regulators, canopy management, and germplasm evaluation. In conjunction with Dr. Anil Shrestha, UC IPM Weed Ecologist, we also study vineyard weed biology and ecology with the goal of identifying sustainable weed control practices.
