Student Speaker
The COE, CBS, and CAES invite its graduating seniors to apply to be a student speaker for the commencement ceremony.
Qualifications:
- In good academic standing
- Meet graduation requirements by Decemeber 2009
Selection Procedure:

Applications are due by 5:00 p.m., Monday, October 16, 2009 to the College of Engineering
Deans Office, 1050 Kemper Hall.
The commencement coordinator will review applications
and invite students for a preliminary interview.
Semi-finalists will be interviewed by a committee composed
of the division's associate dean, members of the advising staff, student
representatives and the coordinators. Semi-finalists
will be expected to give an oral presentation of their
3-5 minute speech and to submit a typed copy of the
speech at the interview. Interviews will take place
in October.
