General Information
Ticket Information:
- Based on projected student partipants, we expect each student will receive 10 tickets. Ticket allocation is based upon the actual number of students participating in the cermony.
- Children under the age of 2 do not need a ticket.
- Tickets will be mailed the third week in November, dates to be determined.
- Students are urged to return extra tickets to the Deans Office, College of Biological Sciences, located in 202 Life Sciences.
- Instructions regarding the distribution of extra tickets, if available, will be included in the letter sent with the original ticket mailing.
- University policy prohibits the selling of commencement tickets for money or for any commercial value. Violation could result in referral to Student Judicial Affairs.
Commencement Photos:
Bob Knight Photo Marketing will take two photos of each student. The company will send proofs to students along with ordering information.
Family and friends are permited to take photos from their seats and from a designated photo area available during the ceremony. Tripods will NOT be allowed into UC Davis ARC Pavillion. Photos may be taken outside of the ARC Pavillion after the cermony.
Caps & Gowns:
Commencement Caps and Gowns can be rented at the UC Davis Bookstore. In addition, the UC Davis Bookstore sells graduation related merchandise such as class rings, announcements, frames, plaques, and cords.
To avoid a late-return charge, gowns must be returned to the collection staff outside the ARC Pavillion immediately following the ceremony or to the UC Davis Bookstore no later than Monday, December 14, 2009.
* We are unable to provide extra tassels, caps or gowns at the commencement ceremony.
Transcripts & Diplomas:
- Transcripts (Registrar's Office)
- Diplomas - Diplomas may be picked up at the Registrar's Office approximately 20 weeks after the end of the quarter in which you completed your degree requirements. If you would like your diploma mailed, you must fill out a form at the Registrar's Office and pay the required mailing fee.
